I can’t tell you how excited I was to find this site. My 4-year-old son has been giving me some serious goosebumps lately. Here’s why…

Back in the early ’90s, my husband’s brother had a tragic accident and passed away at just 20 years old. When our son was born in 1996, we decided to honor his uncle by giving him the same middle name. Then, in 1999, my father-in-law also passed away. Before he left us, he gave our son a deer head that he had hunted and mounted many years ago.

Ever since my little guy was 2 years old, he’s been telling these fascinating stories that always start with “When I was big…” or “Back when I was a big boy…” But here’s the kicker: in his most recent story, he mentioned being with his grandpa when grandpa shot the buck – the same buck that he now calls his buck. When my husband questioned him further, our son described the exact gun that grandpa used to shoot that buck with – a gun that was sold off long before my husband and I even tied the knot.

Now, I’m usually a firm believer in the after-life, and I’ve had my fair share of strange experiences over the years. But I’ll be honest, it kind of spooks me to think that my son might be connected to my late brother-in-law in some way.

My husband and I decided to encourage our son’s memories and stories. We find them intriguing, even though they sometimes send shivers down our spines.

But wait, there’s more! When our daughter was just 3 years old (she’s 5 now), she had this “friend” that only she could see. It was a little boy, she said. They played together in the front yard, rolling around in the grass, and he even gave her a kiss on the cheek. After a bit of research, I discovered that about 3 years before we built our house on this lot, there was a tragic accident right in front of where our house stands now. A young guy, just 18 years old, lost his life.

Reading the stories shared on this site makes me feel better, knowing that others have experienced strange things too. Sometimes my husband thinks I’m a bit crazy, but I’ve got a best friend who’s had her fair share of unusual encounters too, so we’re like two peas in a pod.

I could go on forever, but I’ll leave it here for now and eagerly wait for replies. I’m so curious to hear what the rest of you have to say.

Thanks for taking the time to read my story.

Macy.
